Has anyone used the products Pro-Cycle PMS or Optivite PMT? I have been having terrible PMS since the birth of my 3rd child. I’ve been reading Fertility, cycles, and nutrition by Marilyn Shannon. She mentioned these products to help with pms, short luteal phase, scant mucus. I would love to hear any reviews on these products.

Also, has anyone ordered vitamins through American Pro-Life Enterprise (kuhar.com)??) It appears to be a great pro-life organization and I would really like to order products though them but haven’t found any information on the business outside their own website. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! 👍

Thanks!

Katie

I’ve used Optivite (got it at CVS). It seemed to help although I only took 4 a day.

Thank you! I was hoping that I would be able to find it at my local grocery store and avoid shipping and wait time. At this point, I think my husband would agree that anything is worth a try.

I’ve used both, and I feel better using Pro-Cycle PMS. I don’t know if that’s because I also started a partial dose of Fertility Blend, too. While I don’t know what your PMS might stem from, I know that I just recently finished up my “PMS” time with almost no symptoms; it was actually the second week post-conception! So, I am now a firm believer in supplementing if it can make a pregnant me less scary than a non-supplementing, PMS-ing me!

I just started reading the same book and was curious about these two products as well. DH and I have been TTC for almost 7 months now. I went off the pill in early November and we have switched to NFP. My cycles have been insane (I am currently on day 82 and I’m going nuts!). Shannon recommends ProCycle to help women who have just come off the pill re-adjust. I am just curious if it is a supplement to my daily multivitamin or if it is designed to replace it.

I’m also curious about Fertility Blend - I have seen a lot of sham products similar to this on the market but with this one I could actually look up the researchers involved and see they are real people who are actually involved in research in areas of fertility/infertility unlike other similar products.

For those of you that used ProCycle - did you have to buy it online through the company’s website or were you able to find it in local stores. I looked online and see the Fertility Blend is available online or at GNC or RiteAide. I think I am going to buy it in a store and make sure it agrees with me before I commit to buy a larger supply though the company’s website.

Just wanted to let you know I have ordered from Kuhar many times. They are a small family business. They send your order fast. I have had no problems with them. They are pro-life.

Pro Cycle PMS is recently preferred and discussed by Marilyn Shannon in the 4th edition of her book from 2009. It is the same formula as Optivite PMT except: only 4 tabs/day (rather than 6/day with Optivite) and 4 key ingredients have higher levels as recommended in recent studies. It can also be used as a prenatal vitamin (unlike Optivite) as is since it has 800mcg of folic acid, the recommended amount in pregnancy and nursing. Can be gotten from American Pro Life Enterprise (APLE) with a pro-life pharmacist and nurse on staff, both with doctorates as well as decades of real life experiences and practice. They are at: kuhar.com. One reviewer correctly said they’re pro-life and traditional Catholic.👍

The other pharmacy and box store chains mentioned have a history of promoting and selling abortifacients and the Pill, as well as harassing their pharmacists who try to invoke their God-given rights of conscience to NOT sell such immoral products,
This is another concern you will never have with APLE.
