No. No. Call the cops. No, cant afford it.

Ok you are holier than me. But folks like you are extremely rare among pro-lifers. But waitta minute, how old are you, how much is your annual income, and how much are your total assets? I tell you the truth, i’ll have no problem doing all those things if I am rich enough.
It is very rare for a pro-lifer not to do what they can to help, just the opposite of what you say.

A better blanket statement to make would be…

Pro-lifers are more likely to help.
Pro-choicers are more likely to make excuses and hope the government helps.

This is not comletely accurate, but a much much better scenario that what you suggest.

Same question for you. How old, how much income, how much total assets?
You don’t want to seem to stay on one subject.

A person who actually does something to help does so regardless of age, income or assets.

Remember the story of the poor widow? Not being rich will not suffice as an excuse for not being charitable.

We are in our mid-60s, but we took care of children when we were in our 30s (prior to that, I was in Viet Nam every other year.) And we still managed to save and invest.

The question I have for you is, if you don’t think you can afford taking in a foster child, why don’t you get up and go to work?

The simple fact is, we care for children and pregnant girls, and we help those girls after the baby comes – and you don’t. All you do is tell the old lie about how pro-life people “don’t care” about the child after it’s born.

no wonder. you are probably retired, with lots of time and lots of money. so of course you can help more people compared to a young immigrant like me who is still struggling in life while raising a child and putting 4 people in college in Asia.

its a case to case basis my friend.

see above and figure it out.

Ok you are holier than me.
The one who is ‘holier than thou’ is the one who is guilty of not doing enough and then berates others by trying to bring them down below his level. That is the root of unsupportable correlations between being pro-life and uncharitable. This is generally an indication of ‘self uneasiness’.

Did you miss the part where we did it in our 30s?

I have figured it out – you just don’t want to put out the effort.

I absolutely agree with you. 🙂

no i didnt. did you miss the part where i said i’m an immigrant? i came here 10 years ago with nothing but $50 in my pocket. i’m not superman.
We weren’t supermen either.

I see we’ve gone from where you accuse pro-lifers of not caring for the children after they’re born. to where you make excuses for not doing your share.

We weren’t supermen either.
But you were born there, you should have had a much better financial foundation than me when you were at my age. Better able to help more people than me.

Helping out my poor relatives in Asia is not a “share” for you?

Either way, I’m the pro-choice, you should not expect anything from me. You are pro-life, you are supposed to do better than me. 😃

So you have basically cancelled out your own argument. Do not expect others to do what you are not willing to do.

I help many people but I am not willing to be strictly against abortion.

This issue is all about you folks. Pro-life and world hunger.

Bolony.

Ah, it’s your poor relatives your’e helping!

I and other pro-lifers help strangers.

And I (and other pro-lifers) do better than you. And yet people like you, who do nothing to help anyone but their relatives do nothing but lie about what we do.

And that makes you better? Like I said before, I used to give $40/month to strangers too, until 9/11 when i realized i’d rather give all my funds to people related to me.
