I’m not very hopeful that the party’s plank will change in a meaningful way, but I will pray that the Democrats for Life do make headway. The reality of the situation though is that there will be a lot of uproar from the militantly pro-choice in the party if DfL is successful.

Well, here’s hopin’. Right now I’m convinced that neither party is all that appealing to a great number of Catholics (and neither are appealing to me), but I’m bound to Republicans unless/until lthe Dems let some Pro-Life candidates come to the fore. I agree-- a choice would be awesome. Right now I’m an independent who refuses to vote pro-choice, and so must (almost) always vote Republican.

At least a pro-choice republican didn’t win the nomination (I think I can say that since he’s no longer running). Thank God for that–I’d have to vote for a hopeless third party. Who knows? Maybe I will anyway.

This is just a political hoax designed to portray the democratic party as “open to all”. They have no intention of changing their pro-death stance. This is simply posturing, and Compolo is complicit in it. Roanoker
