I have a group at my youth group and me included that are driving up there from St. Louis MO. If we can have prayers for safe travels it would be appreciated. We are also having a small retreat while were up there if we could have prayers for open hearts and minds as well this would also be appreciated. Thank you very much for all prayers

In addition I’d like to lift all the unborn children up as well as all the single mothers. All the mothers that have had an abortion that may seek refuge and strength in God as well as forgiveness. I pray for our leaders that do not support Pro-Life that their hearts are changed for God and that the ones that do support Pro-Life stand firm to it. I pray this with God as well as with Mary as I pray…

Hail, Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death.

Amen

Well said. I join my prayers with yours. In this Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, I would invite all to join in praying for the dignity and sanctity of every life from conception to natural death. Despite theological differences, I pray that a pro-life attitude will unite us.

Five of us are driving down from north central PA. You have a much longer drive!! Travel safe.

We’ve been down before. It is good to see such a cross-section of America come together in support of Life. The sign that caught my son’s attention was “Atheists Against Abortion.” Speakers were male, female, Democrat, Republican, Independent, Black, White, Hispanic,Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, young. old. The crowd was even more diverse, with international contingencies, people in wheelchairs, multi-generation families, including very young children and babies. The number of young people is a great cause for hope that someday we will see an end to abortion.

Today is Martin Luther King Day. Abortion is the great Civil Rights Movement in our day. I pray for the acknowledgment and respect of the unborn as persons, and an end to abortion. I pray for eyes and hearts to be opened. Every year I pray it will be the last time we need to hold a March for Life. When Roe vs. Wade is overturned, perhaps we can come together on that anniversary to truly celebrate Life!

God bless.

Praying for your intentions …

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

LindaSK,

You will be in my prayers as well for safe travels down and return as well as having your hearts moved by the Holy Spirit and His beautiful works even though as it sounds that your hearts are already moved.

I have also been down before but this is only my second year. Last year my heart was completed changed and I can not describe the feeling in my heart that I have for all of the unborn children. Since last year me and a group of girls at my youth group have met every Sunday after our youth Mass to pray for the unborn but sadly that has fallen to only me and one other person so this year we are including the guys among our youth group because where more then one are gather Christ is there and the more prayers sent out the better.

Last year was my ending of my first year as a Catholic as well and being able to see so many different groups of people brought me to the reality that we are all God’s children and that this is not an issue of religion but an issue of moral rights. I pray that Roe vs. Wade is changed and abolished but until then I will do anything in my power to make it down to Washington D.C.

Prayers are the most powerful thing that we can do because God has the ability to change hearts and I pray that he does.

God Bless.
