Not sure if this goes here. But,anyone gave any suggestions for pro-life singers/musicians? I’m disgusted by the number of singers that have come out to openly support abortion in the last while and I don’t want to support them any more. That decision takes out most of the singers whose music I like.

Unfortunately, I’m not a huge fan of contemporary Christian music, as I find most of it boring and insincere (with some exceptions like Audrey Assad).

Any suggestions are welcome, though (including oldies like Kansas). It’s very difficult to find information online.

The song seems pro-life. However, the band itself is pro-abortion.

Though I can’t speak for the political views of either artist, two popular songs with a strong pro-life message are You’re Having My Baby by Paul Anka and Papa Don’t Preach by Madonna.

Both of those artists are pro-abortion. Madonna is very vocally so.

I’m not really looking for pro-life songs. Just singers or bands that do not support abortion in any way, especially those that are publicly pro-life. Like Jordin Sparks and Celine Dion.

Country/bluegrass artist Ricky Skaggs is an outspoken prolife advocate.

I listen to music for the music, not because I agree with the artist on politics, faith or morals.

If your desire is to focus on only those who hold the Catholic view, you may like:

Catholic Jazz & Hip Hop from Fr Stan Fortuna

Catholic metal from http://catholicmetal.com/

Catholic American Roots music from the Hillbilly Thomists

Augustinian Soul from Sam Rocha

It’s not so much that I am avoiding certain artists because of their personal views. It’s that I don’t want to be part of financially supporting those singers that use their fame and/or their money to spread pro-abortion ideology and make it possible for so many babies to die.

There are singers who don’t comment on abortion or other subjects. I will still support and buy their music since they aren’t contributing to child murder.

I’m just trying to find other artists to fill the void of no longer following singers who are actively pushing a pro-abortion agenda. I’m not purging the music I already bought from them, since the damage is already done in that case. I just will not be purchasing any music they will produce on future.

Singers that go against the status quo just don’t make it on the scene. “You’re either with us, or you’re dead.”

As a former professional musician, with family and friends at all levels of the industry, you will find an extremely diverse group of humans. Deeply devout Catholics, Christians and across the spectrum of diversity of religions and political beliefs.

For what? Above I listed some Catholic musicians. Forgot to include John Michael Talbot.
