Pro-Lifers Attacked, Spit Upon As They Warn About ABC Link

Truth Brings Out Worst at Denver’s "Race for the Cure"
(operationrescue.org) Denver, CO., Every year, the city of Denver hosts a Race for the Cure .The Race is sponsored by the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and proceeds are designated to fund breast cancer research. Many of the race participants do not realize that the Susan G. Komen Foundation gives hundreds of thousands of dollars to Planned Parenthood, Americas number one abortion provider. In 2003, 21 SGK Foundation affiliate grants totaling over $475,000 were given to Planned Parenthood (Kristen Kelly, Susan G. Komen Public Relations). Not only is the SGK Foundation a financial supporter of Planned Parenthood, they have continually hidden the link between abortion and breast cancer. The SGK Foundation denies such a link, ignoring scientific evidence to the contrary. For this reason, while thousands raced for the cure in Denver, a dozen or so stood on the sidelines to show the truth of abortion.

This is typical of the menality of the Culture of Perversion. If they do not like the message, get violent. They know the police will not do anything to them.

Now, it the Pro-Lifers decided to defend themselves, the police would of been on them immediately.

A law-suit and a demand of criminal charges againt the police should be filed for not doing their duty to protect ALL people.

What’s worse yet, if this is in fact true (and all I need to do is find a link from a reputable source so I can print it out), is that my daughter’s CATHOLIC SCHOOL, is currently running a fund drive to raise funds for this foundation. We’ve been all asked to send in a $1 for this…not huge funds and it’s a small school, but now I have to question their judgment on all other things.

Is anyone else’s Catholic school participating in this?

It is possible your daughter’s school doesn’t know this foundation supports Planned Parenthood. Call the school and inform them.

You must fight this in your Catholic School. Go to your Principal, your Pastor, your Bishop, your School board, your Pro-life Diocesan Organization, and your parish pro-life organization until it is dropped. Do not tolerate this!!!
 
Our Knights of Columbus council used to support the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure by parking cars, directing traffic, that sort of thing. But once we learned about their link to Planned Parenthood, we felt compelled to drop out. I think that many other K of C councils have reached the same decision.

It’s really too bad.

To be fair, it’s my understanding that the money SGK gives to PP is earmarked for breast cancer screenings at PP clinics. Nonetheless, it is participation in the Culture of Death. It financially supports PP. It gives PP additional credibility as a “women’s health” organization. That’s not something we can be a part of.

Rather then giving your money to the Susan G. Komen Foundation who supports Abortion by giving some of the funds to Planned Parenthood, you are better off doing this…

As a follow-up, after I had posted about our school fundraiser, I did some checking on the Internet and found several articles on Komen/PP. I PDFd them, printed them, and then called our Diocesan Pro-Life office, who confirmed this isn’t a good foundation to donate.

Not sure who I would approach (school board, principal, pastors), I ran into the school principal later that afternoon at an odd time with no one else around. I relayed what I had learned/done, and he seemed surprised but told me to bring up what I had. I sent it to him this morning and in my kid’s folder this afternoon was notice they would be turning the funds over to a breast cancer research organization suggested by our diocese.

I’d have never known anything about this had I not read this thread yesterday. Just more proof of how God uses us to do His will.

Thats harsh. No you should never ever spit on someone, but they went about it the wrong way. they stated that “Abortion Causes Breast Cancer” that was a horrible way to put it a horrible way. that was like saying that every woman there had an abortion in her life time. My grandmother died of breast cancer, two of my aunts have had breast cancer and i have had a scare with it. Now none of these women had ever had an abortion. Breast cancer is hereditary in some cases and in some cases it just happens. Those women were survivors and on a day they got together to celebrate surviving a deadly deadly illness they were faced with this. now i am 100 and 100000% pro life. but these people are extremists and they screwed up here.

Your right in a way. They were stating the facts but maybe a better sign would be “Abortion Is A Cause of Breast Cancer”. Also, contraception is a cause of Breast Cancer (see **Polycarp Research Institute www.polycarp.org. **There are many causes but avoiding contraception & abortion are easy ways to prevent Breast Cancer.

I am glad you diverted the funds away from Komen/PP and to another Breast Cancer Research organization. These forums keep everyone up to date on current events.

My aunt had breast cancer and asked me last year to give to Komen. I always research these organizations before donating money to them. When I found out about Komen’s ties to PP I was livid! I asked a few high profile pro-lifers if I could give to another Breast Cancer Research organization who was also 100% pro-life. They gave me this list…

Maybe so, but I do think spitting on someone is evil, and yes the wording could have been different, from them and me, so I apoligize if your offended.
 
What is so harsh is revealing the Truth?

I fully support those that wish to reveal the evil that our society is hiding.

And whether they be spit upon, mocked, or abused, I am here to stand by there side.

Peace meets jest: Pro-aborts antagonize pro-lifers with violent threats and graphic displays

The San Francisco Chronicle headline today downplays the pro-abort violence at yesterday’s March as “boisterous,” but the story and photos more accurately portray the truth.

*Th[e pro-life] voice was, by design, mostly silent. Marchers were urged to leave photos of aborted fetuses and signs equating abortion to murder at home. And at a rally before the march, they were urged to ignore those who might try to goad them into an argument… Abortion rights advocates, concerned that the Bay Area movement has become too complacent, showed up en masse to protest the march. And they took a different approach. Although they were easily outnumbered by the marchers, the pro-choice supporters were loud and confrontational.

Many jeered and taunted the marchers, while others stood along the street, waved wire hangers and chanted slogans.

One group wore sheets and gowns dipped in red paint to symbolize their image of back-alley abortions…

At Pier 7, abortion rights supporters held green balloons and a variety of handmade signs that ranged from the obscene, “F – - your agenda,” to the snide, “Keep your rosaries off my ovaries.” And they chanted: “March for Life, that’s a lie, you don’t care if women die,” referring to fears of unsafe, back-alley abortions if the procedure were to be outlawed. *
