South Dakota Passes Abortion Ban

Governor Mike Rounds of South Dakota has signed the strongest anti-abortion bill in the country, making no exception for abortion unless necessary to save the woman’s life, which doesn’tr happen.

South Dakota pro-life leaders are being vandalized all over the state. Leslee and Allen Unruh’s house has been bombarded with eggs, dead animals and coat hangers scattered on their property.They have received threatening phone calls in the middle of thenight, and tons of hate mail. Even their favorite coffee shop has denied them service. They are shocked at the level of hate against them. We’re not.

As a follow-up, after I had posted about our school fundraiser, I did some checking on the Internet and found several articles on Komen/PP. I PDFd them, printed them, and then called our Diocesan Pro-Life office, who confirmed this isn’t a good foundation to donate.

Not sure who I would approach (school board, principal, pastors), I ran into the school principal later that afternoon at an odd time with no one else around. I relayed what I had learned/done, and he seemed surprised but told me to bring up what I had. I sent it to him this morning and in my kid’s folder this afternoon was notice they would be turning the funds over to a breast cancer research organization suggested by our diocese.

I’d have never known anything about this had I not read this thread yesterday. Just more proof of how God uses us to do His will.

blindsheep, i think they like science when it advances their cause

the pro-choice people are beginning to think it’s all over and they’ve always been very outspoken

the link between abortion and breast cancer has been known for years, all i’ve ever heard a pro-choice person say is that the link is uncorroborated and they accuse the pro-lifers of making it all up.
