…but, I have been on the journey to becoming a member of the one, true religion for a little over 4 weeks and I have to say that they have been the most serene weeks of my life. I was a bit trepidatious starting RCIA but only because I had no idea of what to expect but, I love it and have been anxious for it every week. Our class is small (only 2 wanting to convert and 1 wanting to learn) so it feels very warm and comfortable and very conducive to learning. It was during these classes they introduced me to this site which I have found to be extremely helpful and I have been absorbing all the knowledge I can from here.

My personal and professional lives have never been better as well. My wife and I are going through class together and I feel us become closer everyday. As for work, I have been in a new position for 2 months and have already landed a major account that I thank God for daily as I truly feel this would not have happened without His guidance.

Like I said, I apologize for being so zealous and, if I get on anyone’s nerves, it is truly not my intent. I just feel as if my heart will explode if I do not share the happiness I feel! Thank you for allowing me to ramble…

You aren’t getting on anyone’s nerves - it’s awesome that you are so fired up for your faith - keep us in the know about what your going through in RCIA and let us know if you have any questions.

WELCOME HOME.

God Bless,

Chloe M.

I went through it last year and felt the same way! It seems this is one of the few places you can share your positive feelings toward God and His Church, as most people scoff at religion these days. Just wait, the feeling gets even more intense approaching Easter when you realize this is really happening! You will love Eatser Vigil. It is the most amazing experience I have ever had. Has your priest taken you to the Sanctuary to pray before the Blessed Sacrament yet?😃

Not yet, I believe that is next week. I have been out of town for the last 2 classes but, they have given me some reading to do on my own so I do not miss out on being baptized during Easter Vigil!

Excellent! God is indeed good. Do you have a copy of Catholicism for Dummies? It is an absolutely great resource that many RCIA programs use. With a copy in hand, you do not need to wait until class to learn more.

Yep, along with “Catholic Mass for Dummies”, “Why Do Catholics Do That” and “The Seekers Catechism”…these are all excellent!

You are set! Have you been before our Lord at adoration of the Blessed Sacrament? Amazing! Supernatural.

Congratulations. Yours is a great story, especially since you are sharing it with your wife. Don’t forget there will be ups and downs in your journey, so, always ask God for help when you need it - and share with Him your joys (as you do already) as well as sorrows. It does us all good to hear stories like yours. Thank you very much.

You certainly are NOT getting on my nerves. I am glad that you and your wife have taken the journey home together. I pray that you both stay inspired and zealous in your faith… God bless you, strengthen you, guard, guide and protect you and your wife. Amen.

I am delighted to hear of your wonderful experience in RCIA. May the Lord continue to bless the journey of you and your wife!

On the contrary, stories like yours HELP many here. I’m a cradle Catholic who fell away for over 20 years and returned without any re-entry classes…in retrospect I could and should have gone through RCIA since my catechism had stopped at age 10, right during Vatican II era.

We are happy to read of YOUR joy!!!

God bless you and your wife in your journey Home!

No but, I am looking forward to it!

Thank you all, I just feel so full of love at the moment, I want to shout it from on high…
