So I’ve recently developed two huge blisters between my toes, they have been there for about 4 days, and make it very painful to walk. They’re also problematic because I leave for military training in about 20 days, so I’d like them to be gone by then! I know it seems small, but it’s really worrying me… Thanks 🙂

I have one on the tip of each of my middle three fingers on my right hand from playing bass! Not good when you are a trumpet and piano player!! Very painful indeed. Let them air out over night, and keep them dry. From my experience, they should stop hurting to the touch within 2-4 days. Once they have healed over, keep your feet moisturized because I had the very unpleasant experience of having one of mine split today from being too dry! Praying for you, my friend! God bless!

As stated, once lanced and drained keep dry and clean. They should be fine in 3 weeks.

You don’t say what kind of military training you are going to, but a tip if there is a lot of hiking or road marching to prevent heel blisters. Actually 2. First, is take some duct tape, they often call it “90 mile an hour tape” and place a piece from under your heal up to your achilles tendon a piece about 4"-5" long should do it. Make sure there are no wrinkles. This will allow your sock to glide over the heel instead of irritating it. Another tip is to use a pair of dress sock or thin nylon socks as a first layer under the regular socks. This will provide a similar anti friction effect in preventing heel blisters.

Good luck and thanks for serving!
