I am not going to give the details, they are not even particularly interesting or original.

But a prayer for me finding the strength not to fall would be appreciated.

You show considerable prudence in not bullhorning your sins all over the 'Net! Rare, in today’s obsessively exhibitionist world. Good on you!

I’m adding you to my prayer list, and hope you’ll do the same for me.
 
May Our Lord Jesus Christ, who came to us in the form of man and who was like us in every way but in sin, may He hear the prayer of our friend Impertinens.

I have had a “thorn in the flesh” for about 30 years now. Hold on Impertinens, pray, pray and PRAY. We shall pray for you, and with you.
 
Praying that you will persevere and will have frequent recourse to prayer and the sacraments to keep you strong and better able to resist temptation. (You get great graces even from confessing only venial sins.) May you practice mortifications and deny yourself some licit pleasures to better equip yourself to deny those that are bad. (Your will will be strengthened and you can offer up these sacrifices for your salvation and for the salvation of souls.) Amen.
