Problems with Masstimes website?

I have tried several times in the last couple weeks to conduct a search on www.masstimes.org. It will allow me to type in a city name but when I run the search, it gives me errors. I thought the website was having problems but now I’m wondering if it’s just ME.

Has anyone else experienced errors when trying to search that site?

If this is the wrong forum for this, I apoligize in advance.
 
I’ve been having problems for the past several MONTHS. SOME of the time it works but MOST of the time it doesn’t.
 
I find that website to be very hit or miss. I get database errors on there a lot of times.

If it’s acting up when I need it, I go to the diocesan website of the area I am visiting and start looking there.

Masstimes is definitely more “search friendly” but not when it’s acting up.
 
I wouldn’t rely on this site if I were you.

They had the wrong times listed for my last parish 3 years after we changed them and they had been informed.

The site is good to find churches in an area, but once you locate a church, call them and ask them what their mass times are.
 
You’re correct about that. We notified them several times of an official website that our parish launched a few years ago but they never updated their info.
 
I got an error message a couple weeks ago which surprised me because I used it easily about a year ago.
 
Yeah, I’m just trying to use it to find Churches in the area. I’ve just resorted to doing google searches instead.

Thanks for all the responses. I just wanted to know if it was my computer or their website.
 
I’m guessing it isn’t getting the financial support it needs to survive and may well go under.

Also , you can’t always trust the info as it is not always updated. I make a habit of checking the church website or following up with a phone call.

That happens to me if I type in a city and search before the lookups by options listbox has time to fill up. I usually just wait a few seconds for the entire list to display, then start the search. It’s a programming glitch. (I’m all too familar with that yellow screen. :))
