He went to a paradise where God wasn’t…not quite purgatory…

"Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father” John 20:17
A paradise where God wasn’t? … not quite purgatory…? So if it wasn’t purgatory, what was it? How could something be paradise with God absent? And, since He went there, then God was there.

Michael

No, we repent because we are saved, and sin becomes abhorrent to us

In reply to "#1. Must we repent of our sins in order to attain salvation?" you answered: "No, we repent because we are saved, and sin becomes abhorrent to us"

Do we forgive because we are saved, or are we not forgiven unless we also forgive? How are we saved if we are not forgiven, and how are we forgive if we do not repent and forgive others as we have been forgiven?
Mt 6:15 "But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions."
Michael

Lk 17:4 "“And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ forgive him.”
