This is much needed. Rather than whining about the media and entertainment industries (then isolating ourselves from them), we need faithful Catholics to get involved; leavening them with our own perspective and values.
Our current Pope has made it important. He asked Catholic schools to get more involved in media and film classes, etc. I think this would be a natural result of that impetus. Hope it happens accross the country also.
