I’ll be sure to give you all the credit! 😈
But, but . . . I’m Dr. Hawkins, not Frankenstein !!!

😭

No-one ever lets me do surgery. I could have saved my friend a fortune taking that big tumor out out a power saw . . . 😝

There would be a big conflict of interest at the parish where you are assigned as a permanent deacon since you would have both clergy status and you would be receiving payments for photography services. People naturally would choose your wedding photography business over others in order to mistakenly “get on the good side of the church”. I would promise your Office of Permanent Diaconate director and your pastor that you would never do any wedding photography business at your parish plus advertise yourself in other parish bulletins without the “Rev. Mr. xxx” title.

Every other thread on CAF turns into a modesty thread…
Not all of them . . .

some turn instead into Harry Potter threads, others to why the other people at some parish or another are heretics, some too . . .

🤣 😜
Actually, I’m surprised it didn’t turn into an EMHC thread, since one sometimes encounters those at weddings. Or an EF/OF thread, since of course a Nuptial Mass in the EF is SO much more…

Nope. That’s not a profession that is in conflict with sacred orders.

Just start the application process and be willing to be formed by Christ and those in charge of your formation.

Deacon Christopher
