Prohibition of divorce and remarriage outside of Catholicism?

I know that while the Catholic Church may permit divorce in exceptional circumstances, she strictly prohibits remarriage as long as both spouses are alive, and any second “marriage” by either party if their spouse is still alive is null and void.

I have recently been made aware on these fora that the Orthodox allow divorce and remarriage in some circumstances.

Are there any churches, other than the Catholic Church, that absolutely prohibit divorce and remarriage under any circumstances?

You are thinking of the sacrament of marriage which has been consummated. Natural marriages (neither or only one baptized) and unconsummated sacramental marriage may also be dissolved.

Thanks for the clarification, Jharek.

I knew about the bolded one. I meant a sacramental marriage between two baptized Catholics.

I did NOT know that the marriage could be dissolved if unconsummated. I thought that a valid Catholic marriage was indissoluble (insoluble?) from the get-go. Ya learn something new every day.

Thanks for that.

Mods, please consider the thread for me answered and closeable.

Strictly speaking, the Church doesn’t ‘permit’ divorce. She allows separation (with the bond remaining), and she also has a nullity process (which, here in the States, cannot proceed if the couple is still civilly married). But, she doesn’t traffic in civil divorce, per se.
