**Objective: **
To develop a Bible verse-by-verse with the explanation from the CCC (where available)
More hands make light work.
If we gather together and Organize among ourselves we should get this up…say within 3 months. I have done Genesis Ch 1:1-31. (Cut and Paste using Ms Word)
Example
The RSV-The CCC
1st Step is to extract from "Index of Citation of Scripture reference to CCC - onto a Word file.
(Unless someone has an electronic means to do do- this is a manual-like exercise)
Then, it is Cut & Paste
RSV
etext.virginia.edu/rsv.browse.
CCC

1-2:4 337
337 God himself created the visible world in all its richness, diversity and order. Scripture presents the work of the Creator symbolically as a succession of six days of divine “work”, concluded by the “rest” of the seventh day. 204 On the subject of creation, the sacred text teaches the truths revealed by God for our salvation,
205 permitting us to “recognize the inner nature, the value and the ordering of the whole of creation to the praise of God.” 206
204 Gen 1:1 - 2:4.
205 Cf. DV 11.
206 LG 36 § 2.
1:1 268 279 280 290
268 Of all the divine attributes, only God’s omnipotence is named in the Creed:…
