Our house has been blessed with a new addition! Joseph has a little sister, Isabella Rose! Thank God for Dr. Hilgers. He caught a hormonal imbalance and we were successful in caring this baby to full term. I never would have dreamed that I would be the mother to six children. We adore each and every one of them and our love for all of them grows profoundly each day!
 
I am so very happy to read of your wonderful news!! Congratulations on your new addition!!! I, too, have an Isabella. We named her Isabella after she was born with many critical complications. I am not sure whether or not you know, but Isabella means “Pledged to God”.

I am just so happy for you! By the way, our Isabella is now a very active little 3-1/2 year old bundle of energy! She still struggles with physical things due to her strokes, but she is alive because of Him!

Isabella Rose has so many Guardian Angels watching over her!!!

It seems like a lifetime ago that I first posted this thread. Our little Joseph finally found his final resting place in a little country cemetery by the name of The Immaculate Conception. We made the final decision on his little headstone on the Solemnity of St. Joseph. I give thanks for his very short life. I know he prays for me always and without him, I would not have our little Isabella Rose. I have no doubt we would have felt our life was complete and never went on to have our sixth baby.

The suffering of burying our babies has led me to realize that there is no reason to fear suffering. God is truly present when our hearts ache. He will bring peace and joy!
 
I am to tears after reading through this thread. I just wanted to say: I needed this today. Thank you for your courage and your love.
 
I received a call. Little Joseph’s headstone has been placed at his little grave. I will get to travel to go see it in June. I am so thankful for him and his sister Theresa. I would have never imagined my love would grow so much for them after their deaths. They have been such a blessing even through the suffering. I have two wonderful prayer partners in heaven.
