My question is along the lines of this post:

Mr.Blank1.5:
So after looking up one of those lists (not updated however) of companies that support planned parenthood or other related pro-choice groups, I’ve come to discover that the phone company my family is under, the bank I use, the makers of my PS3 (Sony), etc are apparently supporters (in one way or another) of abortion related groups.

I know that if one were to boycott or simply avoid using any goods or services provided by groups that support abortion,…]one would have to live in the wilderness.
However, does this mean that I would have to check every company if they have such illicit ties before I ever purchase anything?

-Does this mean I can never go grocery shopping without worrying that I may be supporting some pro-abortion group?
-Does this mean I can never buy anything from Sony, Time Warner, etc.? (not that I do often any way)
-If I were to purchase anime, would I have to check if the Japanese companies made donations to abortion groups?

I don’t want to bombard this first post with anymore questions (can’t say the same for future ones) but I think I am having a mental break down trying to take all of this in. Can anyone provide me with some insight please?
Sorry if thread-resing is not allowed here, but I’ve had this exact problem for some time and I wonder: what about things like video games? Obviously microsoft (and therefore pc and xbox) is well-known to be pro-abortion. sony’s american branch does not support planned parenthood, but its japanese one might: catholicleague.org/sony-w…-offensive-cd/

Video games are non-essential, so should I just avoid them?

That link u gave appears to lead to a page not found. ^^; I guess it was removed.

You’ll probably get a variety of different answers for this, but to answer your question about avoiding video games, I would say “No.” We really can’t control all the companies out there and where they donate their money; You’d be surprised (or maybe not :D) by how many companies support, in some way or another, same-sex marriage, abortion, LGBT, etc… If we were to boycott everything that conflicted with our faith, we’d hardly be able to buy anything. I will admit, though, if I know a company supported something that I know is a grave evil, I may look for another brand; I usually only do this with food, though, since there’s a variety of other good choices. ^.^

I think it would be different, though, if we knew a company was directly involved with the actual performing of abortions like Planned Parenthood. ← that’s one company we should take our business elsewhere.

Christians in modern times for the most part arent willing to go that far, or inconvenience themselves too much for their religious beliefs. Most are too wrapped up and concerned with the secular world.

IMO, this is NO coincidence either, it has been a slow methodical process, and eventually those desiring a world of little faith, will have exactly what they have worked for, remember they are not stupid or ignorant by any means, so they know exactly what to do and how to go about it in order to reach the kind of world they desire (one that does give due credit to God).

One good example IMO, they make sure criminal charges are in place for certain things, so people will not commit them (anti-abortion efforts mainly). If people know they may go to jail over something, they will definitely not do it, even if it means, settling or letting something continue that should not be. In centuries past, the threat of jail time did not thwart many, as most of them thought it would be worth it, if it meant their cause succeeded, but today that is most certainly not the case! I think this will change though once Jesus returns.

I refer to people like this as ‘fair weather christians’
