Hello

I’m something of a Catholic, somewhere between Catholic and Agnostic. I’m moving back towards Catholicism however am not uite there yet.

Anyway, my point is that even though I’m certianly not a traditional Catholic like many here, I’ve always been struck by the genius of Joseph Ratzinger/Pope Benedict XVI. Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, Dostoevsky etc are all people who are often put out as great minds of our times(and they are brilliant) but the shy Theologian from Bravaria certianly deserves a place in their ranks, yet he has been almost totally ignored by modern academia.

Certianly part of this is pompus bias towards theologians on the part of modern secular acadamics, however I also feel like Catholics arn’t doing enough to have him recognised as he rightfully should be.

What can be done to bring his works to life?
