Proof for the Bible

One of you (Kadeveri, I think) said that one cannot read the Quran one verse in isolation with the rest with other verses in Quran. The same thing with the bible, you cannot read one verse in isolation with the rest of the verses. If you cannot find the reference of Trinity in a single verse, that is normal, and I don’t blame you. But, if you conclude that it is a weakness, then you are in a mistake interpreting the bible.

But before leaving, there IS a verse in the NT, it’s in the Gospel of Matthew, the last chapter (28), the verse before last, where Jesus HIMSELF says,“Baptize them in the name [not “names”, you noticed?] of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (verse 19) There you have it. Now, bye, and God help you!

I wouldn’t be open to them, no. Not after my experiences in life. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it’s a false gospel and an enemy of my faith.

That is not right. You are misinformed or biased.

Then, by all means, if Islam is so wonderful and Christianity so terrible, then become a Muslim. The Christian faith is betrayed all over the world because of this venemous and heretical teaching. I have every right to put Christianity on the table as the only alternative. Why wouldn’t I? Why wouldn’t you? There is no other alternative to the Son of God. If you believe there is there’s serious trouble with your faith. Jesus is either the Son of God and co-eternal with the Father or not. There is no in-between. There’s no halfway faith. There’s no room for truth mixed with error.

**This is another misunderstanding. It is no use advising some one to become a Muslim just because that person has good ideas and is reasonable. We suggest to that friend to follow his/her own faith as a good person. That is what is required by Islam.

Islam means “Peace”. Be a Jew or a christian or any faith believing in God and do good deeds. That is all what is required. Even be a Muslim, or a Jew or a christian or believer in God by any other faith and be peaceful, that is what is required by islam…

If some Muslims are frustrated and misled by their religious leaders, that is not the fault of Islam.**

No, Islam has no valid points. If you think so you are closer to being a Unitarian than a Catholic. I’m not going to be careful what I say about Islam. It’s purely, undeniably, irrefutably false, anti-Christian, anti-love, anti-freedom, anti-truth and a cursed false religion that St. Paul spoke of in the actual Holy Scriptures

There was nothing holy in saul or paul. He was an enemy of Jesus who came in the name of Jesus. He mostly undid what Jesus tried to do.Muhammad did not come in the name of Jesus.
The Muslim Unitarian faith is similar to the faith described in Torah or OT. And we believe that Jesus had the same faith, the unitarian faith, like all prophets of God.

If you believe otherwise you are denying your true faith and blaspheming the Son of God, which is exactly what Islam does. They deny our Lord as Divine and say He is “junior” to Moses. How can you defend such teachings? No, I will continue to disregard and speak out against that faith that blasphemes my Savior. I’m not looking to be open-minded to their teaching. I’ve seen what Jesus can do. Why would I look anywhere else for salvation and truth when it’s apparent to me now?

**Sorry, I have to point out the truth even though it may seem hurtful to you. We do not disrespect Jesus at all. In fact we love Jesus as much as we Love Moses and Muhammad. Only you have to open your heart to Muhammad. Even if you do it slightly, that will be good for you. Do not assume muhamamd as your enemy.

When you ask of the Muslims to associate any one (Jesus) with God then it is asking for too much. they will never do it. It is against their basic teaching. The Muslims do not associate Muhammad or Moses with God. Yu are asking for too much indeed.

Now coming to the Muslims beliefs, we believe that jesus was nothing more than a messenger of God. He was like all the other messengers. he was an Israelite messenger, the last one in that line of the children of Jacob. He was under the command of Moses. Moses was the much senior to Jesus and Jesus had come to fulfil the mission of the Israeli prophets. But alas they did not accept him and he had to go away without completing his mission in palestine.
I am sorry for any inconvenience. If you do not like what I have written then it is alright for me. there is no hard feeling. You are free to believe what you like. islam is not against the real teachings or status of Jesus. We praise and love him as a man of God.

I’ll give you an example…

I think it’s OK for muslims to use the Qur’an and believe that Jesus didn’t die on the Cross (see Qur’an 4:157). That’s their belief - so be it.

But I think it’s terrible that muslims suggest we use our bible and believe that Jesus didn’t die on the Cross. The biblical evidence just isn’t there.

I find that muslims take their Qur’anic beliefs, and then mis-interpret the bible to suit their agenda. If you don’t agree with the bible, so be it - leave it alone; But don’t miscontrue the bible to suit your agenda. As Lapell mentioned earlier, that isn’t “proper inter-religious dialogue”.

**It is definite that Quran tells us that Jesus did not die on the cross and his enemies could not kill him in any other way too. That is a definite and clear teaching of the Quran. There is no doubt.

Now you please bring a very clear writing from the bible NT that Jesus actually died on the cross. Perhaps you will not find such a thing.

Then according to your belief he died on the cross and was put in the tomb where he got up (was risen or came back to life). Then he walked about and ate and drank. he had the same body and same wounds. During that time did he ever say that he had died and come back to life in the tomb?? I hope not. Please show me from the bible NT such a word. that was the right time for Jesus himself to tell that he had come back from the dead.

We leave the Quran alone now. But we look for those special things about Jesus death on the cross in the bible. Do we find anything there?? I don’t think so. Bible NT is availabe to every one now and all read. It is not written there. So please go bythe bible Nt and prove your point.
