I wouldn’t say so. The Soviet Union lost 10-12 million soldiers on the Eastern front, and Kaninchen is correct in saying that a large proportion of its armed forces consisted of Muslims from what are now the Central Asian states (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc…). If you ever visit the graves of the Stalingrad dead you’ll find Muhammads, Alis and Hussains everywhere.

Indonesia also suffered 4-5 million deaths, 90% of its population is Muslim by the way.

France’s armed forces also consisted of many Algerians, Moroccans and Tunisians from its West African territories (the Goumier), almost all Muslim.

The British army fighting the Japanese in Burma consisted mostly of Indian (and now Pakistani and Bangladeshi) conscripts, many of which were Muslim.

You can also throw in the Palestine regiment; which despite the misleading propaganda in the opening post, fought on the side of the Allies, mostly in Libya against Hitler’s Afrika Korps. The Egyptian navy served under the British and many of its men fought in the Battle of El-Alamein. The Bahrainis under Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifah, Omanis under Taimur ibn Faysal, and the Jordanians under Sayyid Abdullah, all also fought for the British.

Oh and don’t forget the Albanians either, whose country was devasted when the Italian fascists invaded.

Really, anyone who looks at WWII without trying to prove that Muslims are a threat to Western civilisation would see that they were overwhelmingly against the Nazis. In fact the only Muslim country which could be said to be on their side was Turkey, which fittingly enough was under an atheistic government at the time anyway.

Was there any need for that? English clearly isn’t his first language.
Ok, i searched for about an hour for any information on this, and i couldnt find a thing, can you find some sources?
And this is about the war in Europe, not Indonesia.

No.

Unfortunately bad spelling and grammar do.
wow. I am impressed. English isn’t my mother tongue. Moreover, the idiocy of these films did not exactly encourage me to consume some time to use slow down while writing or to consume valiable time in spelling check.

Lets see your skills at arabic?

Are you suggesting that, unless information is readily available on the internet, an argument is invalid? That would dismiss over 90% of academic argument straight way.

The Red Army conscripted from the whole of the Soviet Union and, certainly, Zhukov (who had been commander in the East, you may find the Khalkhyn Gol incident interesting, by the way) relied heavily on troops from the East in the breaking of the German Army at Stalingrad and battles from there to Berlin (remember: a huge proportion of the Red Army that had been stationed in the West, had been killed, been taken prisoner or escaped after defeat to form partisan armies behind German lines).

Quite why anybody would seek to deny that many of these people were killed in the war against Fascism, I can’t imagine.

Any issue that can remotely infer any goodness to Muslims ( weather true or not) would be combatted vehemently from a majority on this site. Not all , burt a majority sadly!

Not interested, sukhran. But then, you won’t find me on an Arabic forum either. But admittedly, I’m zero at Arabic.

In any case, I have no other comment either way about what you are saying. Just the grammar and spelling. Sorry to nitpick.

Carry on. 👍 Didn’t really mean to be so nasty. I apologize.

Well, its ok.

The reason for me bieng here is to give the Muslim point of view and to give better understanding over the discussions that relate to Islam. I don’t think if muslims come and decide to be on a non arabic forum they should be scorned because of their lack of English profficiency.

But any way you have appologized( which was very nice of you although you didnt have to) ¨

but i will make an attempt to better my English further.

best regards,

Meedo
