That was very gracious of you to apologize. I also have experienced being angry and frustrated with others and it bothered me that this happened. I now try to keep the following idea before me when I participate in this forum and others. Because this is a Christian forum and we claim to be Christians or children of a good God, because of this we must commit ourselves to discussing matters in charity - we must offer to others our ideas and opinions, not force it upon them. Some people will accept our offering and some won’t, just as we will accept the offering of some and pass by others. This commitment helps me keep my pride in check and be grateful for the opportunity to share my ideas and learn what others are thinking. I mean think about it, we’re talking to people all over the world from all walks of life with a wide spectrum of experience and expertise! This was hardly available 10 - 15 years ago. What a unique opportunity and blessing!

Saint Francis of Assisi prayed “Lord help me not so much to be understood by others as to understand others.”

That is a charitable disposition from which we all could benefit.

What is a Greater Archangelic Catholic? never heard of this before.

Just ask one of the Archangels. Any of them will gladly tell you. It is the faith of the Kingdom of God that has existed since before the beginning of time. It was the first universal (which is why I write Catholic) church.

Wouldn’t until imply that she lost her virginity?

Only if Jesus was with the Apostles until the end of the age, and not always:

And behold, I am with you always, **until **the end of the age."–Matthew 28:20

In the bible until does not always mean something changes, there’s one place in the old testament that says literally:

And Michal, Saul’s daughter, had no child till the day of her death.–2 Samuel 6:23

Mary did not know Joseph after she gave birth, and neither did Michal have a child when or after she died

No, Ezekiel 44:2 is speaking on the end times Temple. Mary is definitely not what the verse is talking about.

Back in Jesus’ day, when parents got old, the children would take care of them.

One would assume then, that if Jesus had siblings, they would take care of Mary.

Well, if you read the Gospel of John, when Christ is on the Cross, He tells John to take care of His Mother:

Chapter 19:
25Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Dear woman, here is your son,” 27and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

Jesus’ half-brothers did not become believers until after Jesus’ resurrection. Also, none of Jesus’ brothers were present when Jesus was crucified. With that in mind, it seems logical for Jesus to entrust Mary to John, a believer, than to his unbelieving brothers.

What do you mean by this?

And if these half-brothers became believers a few days later, why the rush to commend her to John from the cross?

He could have made arrangements for her after rising from the dead and before the Ascension. Seems like His half-brothers would have been willing to listen to His instructions about taking care of Mom then, don’t you think?
