I worked for many years for a large medical mathematics unit. We all got to know
and generally liked each other and were sort of a big family.

One day all the mathematicians were talking about H*, who was probably the
senior authority in our unit. I asked one of the mathematicians
what was the cause of all the commotion and she told me that H had just
mathematically proven a theory. The theory had to do with the origin of matter, and how
it was not all done without rhyme or reason, but it was evident that it was done by some organized intelligence. To you, and me surely this was God. Some called it the
“God Theory”.

H was older than I was and when he left us I talked to him about the theory that
he had proven and whether he had become a believer. I should say that he was born and
raised in a part of the world where Christian or Jewish beliefs were very uncommon.
Anyway he was not in good health at the end, and he told me that he was not a
believer, but he did think that the theory was correct and he asked me to pray for him
for healing.

Surely God will not let us prove his existence, at least not with numbers. We have
to believe it in our hearts first, but I will always believe that H, from our old medical
unit proved to us that God exists. I hope that he found his way to God after he left us.

This is nice story to read. I hope he did too from what you wrote.

It is an old Jewish maxim “He speaks to us through numbers, letters, and communication.” Notice the numbers in the Bible and they conceal. But God is truth we know. And all other things. If a man saying “There is no truth” and he is indeed right, there is no truth. Then what he says is true. And when there is some truth, there is total truth. And God is truth.
