Hello everyone. I’ve recently (last year and a half) started to learn about my catholic faith and getting involved with my local Catholic Church. I am on team with a teens retreat next week. Some team members are wanting to have Eucharistic adoration on the retreat. The only place to have adoration would be an outside pavilion area. Team members have said we would place tarps around the pavilion to make it closed off as much as possible. My question is; what is a proper setting for Eucharistic adoration? Has the church made a statement on where it can and cannot be done? Can it be done on an odinary table or needs to be an alter? Can it only be done in a church/chapel (which is what I have been reading more of)? I feel we should have respect and reverence for the Eucharist and I feel like it would not be appropriate to have the Eucharist outdoors on a random table. If anyone can provide me any documents on church teaching about the proper setting for Eucharistic adoration I would greatly appreciate it. With all due respect I don’t want opinions I want church teaching. Thank you for the help. And God bless yall.
