I am an extremely large man and I can drink the 3.2 beer they sell here in Okla. for days and never get drunk. It only puts me in a good mood mostly because I love beer. I would fall asleep before I could drink enough to get drunk. Should I be concerned about placing some sort of limit on the occasions I choose to drink beer?

Talk to a doctor before going the non-stop-beer route. Regular heavy drinking, even if not getting to the level of drunkenness, can probably have effects on the liver or other health effects.

I’m fairly large too, and used to drink 3.2 beer all the time - because I liked the taste and it was part of my German heritage. I tried non-alcoholic beer and didn’t like it, although it tasted the same. Hmm . . .

That’s when I found out it wasn’t the beer I was after. A little introspection helped me realized I liked anything with alcohol. Now it’s 20+ years later and I’m clean and sober. I found out my job problems, family problems, extra-marital affairs, health problems, financial problems, spiritual bankruptcy, etc., were all a result of the alcohol.

Think seriously and honestly about what you’re doing. God bless you.

Alcoholism doesn’t necessarily require drunkeness. And gluttony is still wrong even if it is neither alcoholism or drunkeness.

Thanks guys for the replies. Ya’ll just confirmed what my conscience has already been trying to tell me.

This prayer’s for you!

God bless and good luck. Habitual sin is a tough nut to crack.

Ask me how I know…:o
