Here is a very nice piece (short too, quick read). If you don’t have the time to read Blessed Cardinal Newman’s Letter to Pusey, this summary really provides solid summary.

Also, here is a tremendous homily by Fr. Cantalamessa the preacher for the Papal Household… which really makes clear that we should all connect directly to God and that Mary and Saints are available to pray with us in intercessory prayer…
