No…the scriptures will most likely hold the same place they do now 50 years from now…they are a source of God’s Word…but not the Source itself…God’d Word can be found within it’s pages…but the pages are not the Word of God.
With more and more archeological finds concerning the early years of Christianity surely yet to come forth may “enlighten” a Friend’s view on scripture…but the Light Within…that deep personal communication with God is the True Teacher for Friends of all stripes.
