Protection for those on the Gulf Coast

Please pray for those of us living on the Gulf Coast, to be spared destruction from Gustav. This does not look like a good situation for those who have just rebuilt in New Orleans, and those in the surrounding areas.

Our Lady of Prompt Succor, pray for us! Have mercy on us O Lord!
 
Praying that our Lord will protect those in this destructive path from devastation. Lord, have mercy on us.
 
Father have compassion on those who may be in the path of this cyclone. I ask in Jesus name

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
