Two days ago I was talking with a woman who said she was a Christian. As we got into conversation, I mentioned I had just gotten back from a youth conference with my kids and how refreshed I felt. She told me how she had just went to a conference put on by the great spiritualist, Sylvia Brown. You know the one that reads fortunes?posted by oudave
Hi Lisa
Do you mean unfounded accusations like exporter saying I believe OSAS? You are probably the most level headed person in here but let me ask you a question, does having a different opinion on something mean that you are giving someone a hard time?. Everything I have said in this forum comes from talking to other Catholics or things I have seen.
Dave.
Just because someone claims to be Catholic, does not mean they understand who Christ is and what the teachings of the Catholic Church are. Just as that woman claimed to be a Christian but clearly does not understand that Christians should not be going to fortune tellers.
People here have been trying to explain what the **Official **teachings of the Catholic Church are. I do not think all the Christians who go to the same church as the woman above believe fortune telling is okay. Please stop judging us by Catholics who clearly did not know what a Catholic Christian is supposed to believe and start listening to the explainations many people have given.
God Bless,
Maria
