Why would there be? The is no such thing as The Protestant Church, or "Protestant theology ".
Now, there may be on the air or online talk shows that are “evangelical”, or Baptist, or Lutheran. I remember hearing one once (yes, once) on XM that was decidedly evangelical

I wouldn’t trust GotQuestions for anything. Everytime I ask them a question, they can’t answer it.
 
Like what questions? Give an example or two. Don’t make unfounded claims.
 
I’ve read Got Questions, they’re pretty anti-Catholic. Where do you get this view from? Catholics are not apostates, given we embrace the Christian religion.

I apologize. I did not mean to imply you were lying. I read all the time anti-Protestant statements like “I asked this…” or “I asked that…” and a pastor or apologist couldn’t’ answer my question. I have yet to see a question that does not have sound Biblical answers. Anti-Protestant (not calling you one) have a tendency to make general claims without solid content for beneficial discourse.

So, what was the “blunder” in this article? I have read this article before and do not see many changes.

Also, if you go back and read carefully, you will see the articles “quote” some scholars in regards to the end times and GotQuestions does not take that position. On the contrary, questions such as “Is Rome Babylon” or “Is the pope the anti-Christ”, they take the stand that these could not be as Babylon should be located in Turkey and the pope professes Jesus to be Savior.

Apostasy is not the complete abandonment of the Gospel.

Take Mormons and Jehovah Witlessness. They have not completely abandoned Christianity, but enough to be considered apostate.

GotQuestions.org is not anti-Catholic. They are anti-false-doctrine which when there is enough of it in a Christian organization, is considered apostate. They freely admit there are genuine Christians in the
RCC in-spite of some of the RC doctrine.

There is a significant amount of variation in the Protestant faith. In my town there are at least 15 Baptist churches, no two holding the exact same belief system.

I think there are several christian forums though, of varying quality.

About 3 km (a little more than1.8 miles) down the road from me, there’s a Baptist church, go into town, there’s a Baptist church and an Episcopal church, go down the road a little bit, another Baptist church, there’s also a non Denominational church in town. There are only 192 people in said nearby town. These are not the only churches, these are just ones that are easier to get to. There are NO Catholic churches within about 16 km (10 miles). If you want a show on “Protestant answers”, you’re going to have to get a bunch of people that can’t even agree with each other on what THAT means.
 
What do the liberally estimated 30k denominations ALL agree on?

Jesus is the Son of God and is equal with God (John 1:1, 49; Luke 22:70)
Jesus was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:26–35)
Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; John 8:29)
Jesus was crucified to pay the penalty for our sins (Matthew 26:28; 1 Corinthians 15:2–4)
Jesus rose from the dead (Luke 24:46; Mark 16:6)
We are saved by the grace of God; we cannot add to or take away from Christ’s finished work on the cross as full payment for our sin (Ephesians 2:8–9)

What else do we ALL agree on: the Roman Catholic Church is not the one true church of God. Protestant denominations are unanimous in rejecting the papacy, the supremacy of Rome, transubstantiation, purgatory, and most other Roman Catholic dogmas. The belief that the Word of God is supreme above all else has led all Protestant denominations to the same conclusion – the Bible does not teach many of the things Roman Catholics practice/believe.

And further, Protestants agree on much more than disagree. Most disagreements are over non-essential doctrine (of which God gives us leeway under the New Covenant - Romans 14:5).

Where can we find a list of these non-essential doctrines, and who determines whether it is essential or non-essential? Is that somewhere in the Bible?
 
Yes, each essential belief is called out in the Bible. Take Romans 10:9 for instance. Not hard to see this is an essential belief. I have provided scriptures of you wish to verify in my previous post. Paul lists the non-essential issues in Romans 14:5 (not that its complete). Anything that leads one to eternal life with Jesus is essential.
 
So where are the non-essential lists and where can I find them? And what if I believe something to be essential, like the Eucharist, which is in the Bible, and you do not?
 
Why must there be a list in the Bible? Seems the Holy Spirit has enlightened all Biblical Christians in the essentials of Christianity. You can cross reference the list I provided previously with each major denominations Statement of Faith/Catechism. Most of the “so-numbered 30k” denominations fall under these major denominations so you should be able to verify within small amount of time.

Where is the list of books that should be in the Bible? There isn’t one. Yet ALL of Christianity holds to there are 66 inspired books (others are disputed). But we ALL agree on the 66. But there is not a list, is there? The Holy Spirit is our list maker.

You bring up a perfect example: transubstantiation is found no where in the Bible yet does belief somehow hurt your relationship with God? Romans 14:5 would seem to say no.

It’s very nice to have a moment of clarity when someone attempts to say something is self evident when it isn’t. The holes in the position are big enough for me to fall right through into being a believing Catholic, despite the confidence with which it is being argued. And so I have become, from convinced Calvinist to RCIA committed Catholic. Couldn’t be happier. So thanks drblank1, you have actually brightened my day in a really tough couple of weeks.
