No, Catholics should not receive communion in a non-Catholic faith community. Besides the fact that our beliefs regarding the Eucharist are vastly different from Protestant communities receiving communion is a way of saying that we are in union with each other and that’s simply not true when it comes to Catholics and Protestants. Receiving communion is a sign of our unity yet we are separated from our Protestant brethren in many points of faith therefore receiving communion would be an outward lie.
