I noticed Protestants here seem to profess the false doctrine that you don’t need the Church and all you need is Jesus Christ. They like divorce the Church and Jesus Christ and divide them.

That is a false dichtomy. In Catholicism, the Church and Jesus are united. The Church head is Jesus. The Church is the Bride of the Lamb.

I like to point out that in Acts during Paul conversion on the road to Damascus.

Consider this Chapter and verse in the Bible; Acts 9 verse 1 and following:
*
But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. Now as he journeyed he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed about him. And he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?"

And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting; but rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do."

The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one. Saul arose from the ground; and when his eyes were opened, he could see nothing; so they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank. *

Read the text carefully and who did Saul persecuted in those days? The Church. Jesus ask Saul a question, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?" Paul answered. “Who are you, Lord?” and Jesus answered. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting; but rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.”

The premise that Christians do not need the Church but only need Jesus is a false doctrine created by liberal Protestants. That type of belief is foreign and is a strange doctrine.

Of course I know there might be Protestants who do not separate the Church and Jesus but based on this thread the majority of Protestants view seem to claim that you don’t need the Church. That is a foolish.

So here is a question for you. Where in the Bible does it say we don’t need the Church? Where in the Bible that you can separate from the Church? What authority do you have to divide yourself from the One Church that Jesus establish? You have no authority not from God.

This is a challenge for you Non-Catholic Christians who believe that you don’t need the Church.

The true mission of the Church is the building up of kingdom of Christ, which Jesus established over 2,000 yrs ago. Her mission is the same mission that Jesus came for.

So why are you persecuting Protestands. We are Christians, part of the body of Christ and part of the Kingdom of God, weather or not you like it.
I think if everybody learned that it would make God extremly happy

Protestants aren’t persecuting anyone. The church is the body of Christ as scripture plainly tells us. Not some physical building.

Grow up!!!

What would make God extremely happen is if the protestants found the whole truth for once instead of the bible alone “doctrine” and the rest of the fallacies born out of the “reformation”

The Church consists of the physical, spiritual, and the supernatural. Grow up.

Never heard anyone mentioning to me that they don’t need a church. Kinda of weird to hear pple saying they don’t need one:confused:

Don’t need YOUR church does not mean we do not need the church. Don’t act like you don’t know the difference. While you can disagree, don’t act like you don’t know the difference when you do. Must have been a bad morning. Three baiting threads in half an hour…
