Let me put it this way, “Anti-Catholic Protestants equal Mary haters.”
Ok. Another statement. Now, I’d like you to present me with some REASONING for it, which isn’t just another statement.

I already give the reasons behind it.
Ok? If so, then please show me where. Because all I’ve seen is “protestants hate Mary because they say she wasn’t perpetually virgin” - and that is just ridiculous.

It is rather ridiculous don’t you think? Now you know we Catholics feel when you Protestants think we worship Mary like we do God.

The reasons why I posted this thread is to make a point. Many Protestants assert many false conception about the Catholic Church.

I can tell you that for the most part, most CAF members knows how I act out in here. Sometimes, I like to play mind games.

This is one of my games to make a point.

I made the general statement that Protestants hate Mary because they deny Catholic teachings on Mary. So I made a false generalization that Protestants hate Mary when in fact they do not.

So if I persist in this, they would start to get the idea how ridiculeous it is for them to say something about the Catholic faith which is not true.

Manny, are you truly serious about this?

Just because someone may disagree with something does NOT mean that they hate it. I may not agree with praying to the saints as catholics doe but that does NOT mean that I hate the saints (nor the catholic doctrine regarding it for that matter). Hate is a VERY strong word and one you obviously don’t know the meaning of:
Main Entry:
2hate
Function:
verb
Inflected Form(s):
hat·ed; hat·ing
Date:
before 12th century
transitive verb 1 : to feel extreme enmity toward <hates his country’s enemies>
2 : to have a strong aversion to : find very distasteful
intransitive verb :
to express or feel extreme enmity or active hostility
There aren’t many protestants out there who are outright hostile or find distaste with Mary herself. With the catholic doctrine maybe but not Mary. There is a difference.

Your attitude and posts towards protestants and their faith coincide with the definition above. You obviously hate protestants and their faith. 🤷

I can’t remember having claimed that you worship Mary as you worship God, so please don’t include me in that “you Protestants”.

Let me make this clear to you and to any Protestants. I do not hate Protestant individuals. I do hate the Protestant theology because their belief is erroneous.

If their beliefs were true, they Jesus lied to us because he did promised the Church will be with us until the end of the age.

I am like you Manny. I hate Catholic theology. I hate that they are deceived by lies. I love Catholics though. Some of my best friends are Catholics…

Let me make something clear, you hate my beliefs then you hate me. We come in one neat little package. 🙂 My beliefs make up who I am, you can’t separate me from God and my beliefs. So you hate my beliefs then you hate me (a protestant individual).

The Church is with us, since the beginning and will be with us till the end. I haven’t seen a break in the time line. 🤷 We ARE the Church. As long as Christians are out there so is the Church. You will never see catholics or protestants erased from this earth, we will never fail - because that is Christ’s promise. 👍

No I do not hate you because I do not know you. Your beliefs are contrary to what Jesus taught in the beginning.

I do not believe in OSAS. Beliefs does not necessary saved Christians for Jesus said, “Not everyone who says, Lord, Lord, will enter into heaven.”

Your Churches are pseudo Churches. They lack Apostolic Successions. Your Churches are product of the Reformations. There is no line within Protestantism that trace its history to the Apostles.

Apostolic succession is a dime a dozen. Lots of these churches have them. What is important is doctrine. Following the teachings of Jesus. That is what we do.

Nor do I, just because I am protestant doesn’t mean I believe in OSAS. Guess you shouldn’t just assume what I believe before pointing out what you hate about my beliefs.

I am part of the Church Catholic, the universal Church Christ spoke of. Nothing ‘pseudo’ about that… But we digress here, you state I hate Mary - I say that according to the definition you hate protestants more than they hate Mary.

Disagreeing with the belief that she was ever virgin (as your example says) does not mean you hate HER it means you disagree with the belief. Disagree does not equal hate.

Not all of your Protestants follow the teaching of Jesus Christ. If you did, you would obey both Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and Church authority.

These teachings from from Christ himself who established only One Church upon Peter. None of your Churches even have the keys of kingdom.

I do not care about something called Protestants. I follow the Bible. So called sacred tradition is just added doctrine without historical proof. I follow church authority.
The kind found in the Bible. I believe in religious liberty, not using the keys to lock people in jail and kill them.

So you are not universal because not all of your Protestants are in agreement concerning moral and faith issues.

By your baptism, you are member of the Catholic Church. However, your union is incomplete because you do not have the full means of Salvation. The Catholic Church only got it.

If you read the reason behind this post, you would get a general idea how foolish it is to make a claim which is untrue.

Oh, so this is a bait and switch thread… If we all would stop trying to bait each other and just talk about what we agree and disagree on, conversations would be a lot less about trying to prove who’s right and more about coming to understandings. So you can make unfounded and untrue statements (even if you don’t mean it) but if a protestant would do the same then they would be in the wrong… *sigh, hypocrisy is alive and well folks!

It is a bait thread. I only wanted to prove that how foolish it is that newbiew forum members makes false misconception of the CC is just as silly as this thread.
