The Catholic Church stands alone… This is sad. For a Protestant to support Abortion is wrong! They should support the Catholic Church and the Supreme Court decision on Partial Birth Abortion NOT CONDEMNED IT!

Well it this is any consolation the Eastern Orthodox church stands four square with the Roman church in its condemnation of this barbaric proceedure of literally killing the baby partially born from the womb.

Orthodox for Life member.

I first learned about partial birth abortion at an anti-abortion seminar held in my protestant church, presided over by my protestant ministers, and attended by my then fellow protestants which is the largest church in my city after the Catholic church. To pick out one minister’s statements and apply them to all of protestantism is bad research and just plain absurd, especially considering the fact that just how seperate and individual each protestant church is is brought up on this board every day.

There are many Protestants (not all) that try to lead Catholics out of the Church claiming that what they have is truth. I personally thought that they could do better than sinking so low.
You may rest assured that the Protestants who try to convert Catholics and the Protestants who support infanticide are two distinct sets of people with no measurable overlap.

Oh Really. Puhleeze.

I assume that you can support this assertion with documentation that convincingly shows that no other church supports the Supreme Court partial birth abortion decision.

Otherwise this is just hot air.

Oh…and isn’t there an organization Catholics for Free Choice or something like that. Just saying…

I think Heretics for Free Choice or Apostates for Free Choice is a better term for them but I agree, there are plenty of Protestants out there that are just as happy as I am that the Supreme Court has finally rendered a pro-life decision.

Any Christian; Catholic, Protestant, or Orthodox, who support Abortion is a heretic. I’m surprise no one made a counter-rally to support the Supreme Court to upheld the ban on Partial Birth Abortion.

Yes, and they are less Catholic for being in favor of free choice.

I know many catholics are pro-choice. I do not think it is a denomination issue, IMO it is a society going morally wrong issue because they dont have God in their life–regardless of whether or not they go to church.

I use to be pro-choice and even after God saved me I still thought like that for awhile but not anymore. It had nothing to do with what church I went to. It had everything to do with living a sinful life without God and caving into what the World says is ok.
