Does anyone know of any protestant radio shows this past week that have discussed Pope Benedict’s resignation?

I kinda lump that with Hollywood Jewish television producers and stars doing the “Meaning of Christmas” shows.

The Sound of Life in NY. When Archbishop Dolan became Cardinal, they announced it and were so happy. The announcers words were like, I have happy news, We have a new Cardinal!" I was surprised actually. And I have come across a conversion story on this link:

whyimcatholic.com/

and the person (can’t remember what religion but it was a girl) she made signs to greet the late Pope JPII (Protestants For The Pope!) Very cool.

Do they have audio archives? I didn’t see any after a quick web search.
I recall last year, they had a pod cast that you could click and listen to some guest speakers. I just searched their site, and don’t see it. In the evening around 8pm each night, they have an interesting topic that they discuss. You could contact them and ask. Perhaps for financial reason they are not able to provide this service now.

It would be awesome if catholic answers radio talk show could be highlighted or maybe put on their calendar of events on when it airs in their listening area and what channel to listen.

Okay, I found 1 podcast by John Stonestreet with BreakPoint ministry.
You can hear it here. It’s just under 4 minute commentary and I thought it was good. It will require free registration. Basically he acknowledges that Pope Benedict was a great voice for life and marriage, and he encouraged his listeners to pray that another good successor be elected. 👍

I was referred to 2 other shows that mentioned the event.

The first was Wretched Radio, with Ron Friel. It unfortunately only mentions Pope Benedict for a brief moment, and then goes into a rather maniacal anti-Catholic diatribe. Since I had to transcribe some of it for a skeptic in another forum, here is some of what they said:*Guest Dr. Peter Hammond: "There was a lot of corruption [in the papacy]. Jesus said, ‘Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly they’re ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.’ Well, their fruits were there was a lot of corruption. Mass amounts of corruption.

Hammond [after citing this and that sexual or financial scandal in the papacy history]: All of this was the corruption in the book of Revelations [sic] speaking about the whore of Babylon.

Friel: The Reformers, when they tried to identify the anti-Christ, they did not delay. They said it was––
Hammond: ––the papacy is anti-Christ.*The other was the podcast Albert Mohler, on Tuesday - called Pope Benedict XVI a “very important figure.” And he acknowledged the Pope’s defense of human life and pursuit of truth. He associated Pope Benedict with the sex scandals. But in general, he didn’t get very opinionated and basically repeated some of the more common themes in recent news stories.

Here is the written commentary:

I found one other commentary on the Pope and one on Mary. Interesting:
