OhmyGOSH–really, larkin? You really think society agrees that there’s nothing wrong with divorce?
All I had to do was google “divorce social problem” and this came up:
[SIGN1]1,890,000 for divorce social problem. [/SIGN1]
:bigyikes:
In the entire history of civilization there has never been a better way to raise children than in a culture in which marriage is the fundamental unit of society.
Certainly, each couple considering divorce thinks, “Divorce is wrong for everyone else, but in my case it’s necessary.”
It is clearly a sin/fundamenta wrong/scourge on society/social problem.
If increased
depression, abuse, neglect, addiction, poor academic success in divorced households etc etc etc don’t move you to change your position, perhaps the fact that it affects
your wallet will:
Government is spending close to $1 billion a year attempting to alleviate
the suffering and problems associated with divorce. In fact, nearly every
social program dollar Georgia spends is directly related to a need that was
created by broken families.
