But why do you assume that no 'Bible Christians" have received private revelations?
private revelations and miricles happen to anyone God wants to reviel himself to.
Several miracles in the Catholic Church are God’s sign to both faithful and non faithful so that the may believe there is a God.
People even Catholics “private revelations” could be works of God or the Devil. Only way to see who these revelations come from is to test them according to the Whole truth. God will not contridict himself but the Devil will contridict God. Contridictions dont have to be do something that God has told you not to do, but they could have details left out of what God has told you to do.
ex.
Matthew 16:13-20
13 And Jesus came into the quarters of Cesarea Philippi: and he asked his disciples, saying: Whom do men say that the Son of man is? 14 But they said: Some John the Baptist, and other some Elias, and others Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 Jesus saith to them: But whom do you say that I am? 16 Simon Peter answered and said: Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answering, said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. 18 And I say to thee: That thou art Peter[rock]; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven. 20 Then he commanded his disciples, that they should tell no one that he was Jesus the Christ.
Catholics here hold firm to the scriptures that Jesus says directly to Peter that he will build his church on him and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Divinly inspired scripture infallible scripture, yet people who claim to live faith by the bible fail to realize that christ ment Peter as the Rock and not himself.
If Christ was the foundation the ground of the chruch it would require men to build up the church and faith. Christ instead as God built his church on Man, specificly Peter who we view as our first pope so the foundation of the church the rock on which it is built is the chair of the pope. Other then in the first chapter of acts does scripture give a good insite on apostolic succession.
So when reading the bible people try to discredit Peter as being the Rock on which Jesus built the church. They come up with a few other passages 1 Peter 2:8, 1 Corinthians 10:4, Romans 9:33 showing Jesus as the Rock.
1 Corinthians 10:4 (Whole Chapter)
and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.
This passage is in reference to the rock in exodus which Moses struck to give water to the jews.
The other passages do use rock as part of the church but not the foundation. Psalm 118, 1 Peter 2:7 , Acts 4:11, Luke 20:17, Mark 12:10, Matthew 21:42.
Jesus is the Capstone [Cornerstone] of the Catholic church. Jesus built his church on man, but Jesus himself holds his church together. God can destroy a man made building and man can rebuild that building over and over as long as there is a foundation there. But man can not destroy a building that is held together by God. Jesus is our Cornerstone the papacy is our foundation. Earthquaks can shake a foundation and cause the buildings to fall, but no matter how hard the foundation of the Catholic church gets shaken from scandles and sin of our church leaders the Church will not fall because the Church is not of Man but of God himself.
To believe otherwise is not playing on God’s team and thus against God. So when a private revelation says Believe and Jesus and your saved and from the Catholic the anti-christ will raise out so hold firm to the Holy Scriptures and ignore everything the Catholic church says and study and find salvation on your own. Is in a sense contridiction of what Jesus and God have established.
