Funny how we kick this back and forth. I was asking you to tell me what is your interpretation of the verses I have given you. I do not use your methodology to understand
/ interpret scripture so I would not know where to start even.
Here are the verses again. Though you have to take them in context, I highlight for you a few what I think are important for consideration ā the axioms if you may.
John 6:53-56
53Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.
1 Cor 11:23-29
23For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed,** took bread, 24and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, āThis is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.ā **25In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, āThis cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.ā 26For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lordās death until he comes.
27Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. 29For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself.
Lk 22:19-20
19And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, **āThis is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.ā **20In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
