Well, IMHO any catholic that should want to profess their faith to me should do so exercising the fruit of the spirit in Galations 5:22.😃
Please do so without–arrogance, pride, impatience, anger.
Those would be my requirements as a protestant.
Oh I almost forgot to mention that this goes both ways. If someone is trying to tell you that the One True Church that Jesus built is the Catholic Church, try not to be so ā€œpridefulā€ yourself and jumping right away to say that the Catholic Church is NOT the one that Jesus built on Peter the Rock. Try not to want to be right instead of being open to want to be in the one true Church that Jesus built.

It goes both ways. I think all Protestants should have their hearts and minds open. Since this is not the case, all I can do is pray and ask the Holy Spirit to open your hearts, soften your hearts and open your eyes and give you the gift of faith that you need to believe that the Catholic Church is the one Church that Jesus built. šŸ™‚

:yup: I had a feeling. šŸ™‚ I wish all protestants felt this way. unfortunately not all feel the same way you do. 😦

Yes and I pray as well for anyone who does not know the truth for God to open their eyes to it(whatever church they are in).šŸ‘

Same here. I only have a select few that I’ve known by heart as far as chapter and verse. But for the most part, I have to look it up. And since I’ve had to do that here, I’ve gotten more familiar with some chapter and verse, although I haven’t ā€œmasteredā€ it yet. 😃

I think it’s more important to practice the faith by being patient with others and being charitable. I do fall at times 😦 since I’m a sinner. So I pray for mercy and I ask for the graces that I need so that I can grow in this holiness. I do this by going to frequent confession and receiving Jesus in Holy Communion. Of course there are other ways to ask for mercy and grace, šŸ˜‰ but that is the best way to obtain the graces that one needs to get through life while carrying one’s cross.
