mgrfin;2989416:
Jesus, the Son of God, said to pray directly to the Father in His name. The Son of God did not say pray to the saints. Jesus, the Son of God, gave us instructions on how to pray. Why aren’t you listening to the Son of God?
You do realize that when you pray in Jesus name, you glorify the Father. You can’t glorify the Father in the Son by praying to creatures (created people).
Jhn 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
I quoted John 14:14 to you and you ignored it.
You are also ignoring infallible revealed Tradition (the unwritten Word of God) relating to the Eastern Church in prayer to Jesus (Jesus Prayer), and the same Tradition teaching prayer directly to Jesus and to the intercession of the Saints in the Western Church.
I don’t know the place of the Holy Spirit in your beliefs, but he seems to be totally ignored. I guess you don’t believe in the Blessed Trinity, or much about it, outside of what the Catholic Church has taught you.
You are repeating yourself. I know what you believe and how you pray. I believe the discussion is over since you only want to say the same thing.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
