Hi all. John Martignoni is a lay Catholic from Alabama who (amongst other things) writes a weekly newsletter on Catholic issues; ususally defending Catholicism against Protestant arguments. I challenge you to read his newsletter this week. It is the second in a chain of two, and you can read the first one here. The full list of his emails you can find here.

Please read the newsletter from this week, and tell me where he goes wrong (if you can).

that was a lot of reading. i think i am too tired tonight because i was getting the people confused. anyhow, i didn’t realize that protestant pastors had such negative and false beliefs about the roman catholic church and catholics.

how can we all get along if we are all fighting among ourselves as to who as the right faith.

i think if Jesus came down He would not like what he sees in all of the churches and the way they behave with one another.

That was great I have a great many Protestants in my family and am often found in discussion of that tone.

Any takers?

In case any Protestants have made it this far but haven’t read the newsletter yet, I’ll tell you that Martignoni briefly but effectively demolishes sola scriptura, proves the sinlessness of Mary from the Bible alone, and proves the Catholic teaching on Apostolic Succession, also from the Bible alone. And he does this all in a single newsletter.

Hopefully that will be enough to motivate a few Protestants to look into it. Once you have, I would be very interested to see where you think he goes wrong.

Best of luck.
