Hey hisalone. Did you ever see a Catholic pray. Every single prayer starts with IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. Every single prayer. That is what we call the Trinity the Almighty God. The 3 persons in one being God. Now how can we pray to anyone except God by starting and ending a prayer that way. Case Closed. When you can prove that Catholic’s pray any other way you can reopen this case. Until then, Case Closed!

What was the purpose of Jesus saying at the foot of the cross. Behold your Mother. He did not say behold MY Mother. He gave he to us all at the foot of the cross. There had to be a reason. And that reason was easy. There is no Love in this world like the Love of a Mother and child. Jesus proved that to us.

I feel this statement is very bad theology.

Matthew 18:19-20

19"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

The above verses are the definition of intercessory prayer. This is all talking about people coming together who are “on earth” or alive, as in, can be in the same place physically.

These verses are very important to why we should gather together at church, it shows why it is supernatural and important to do that.

I don’t agree with your “bad” theology statement. Why should we accept the theology of a Church whose roots go back to 1901, and suffered it’s first schism in 1916? How does the theology of such a new Church have a better understanding of theology than the early Church fathers?

In reference to Matthew 18:19 - 20, who is the audience Christ was speaking too? It was His Apostles, and not a multitude of people. He was addressing how the authority of His Church could have confidence that He would be with them.

This discussion is not about Fater Son HS but you in the OP made a claim for Mary. Mary is blessed and should be honored as a great woman of faith. She should not be paraded around on May day with hymns songs and prayers directed to her. She is not part of the Godhead.

they just continue to take the words of Jesus as if Jesus is speaking to them without realizem all this already happened. Jesus has spoken those words to his called and not just anybody. until they realize this, they are going to continue believing on the lies of the enemy.

There is no evidence the 1st century church prayed to Mary and the saints. That did not happen untill some of the churches became paganized.
