Protestants, SDA's, Do you pray to know what your vocation is?

Iam just wondering if either group prays to God and asks Him what their vocation in life should be or could be? Why? Catholics often pray to God and ask Him to help us find out what our vocation should be. Be it a priest, or a nun, or whatever it may be. Do you pray and ask God for similar things? Be it a doctor, lawyer, teacher, pastor, missionary, excetera?
 
Yes we do, we usually refer to it as being “Called” to something rather than a vocation, but it is the same thing. God has Called me to be a missionary to other countries. So far I have worked in India, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. I’m in the State new because my Daughter is still quite young.
