Protestants: What Are Your Core Beliefs?

I don’t know what you mean by Bible Christian (what the heck is a Bible Christian?),
Someone whose beliefs are similar to these

but Anglicans/Methodists see scripture thru the lenses of tradition, reason, and experience. The Creeds certainly come to us through tradition - which is a valid and essential source of our faith.
I’m not sure where you’re coming from. :confused:
My point is that Christians who are “Bible Christians” have no Scriptural basis when they tell me about what’s an “essential” element of the faith, and what’s non-essential.

However, Christians, like Methodists and Anglicans who recognize the value of tradition and reason seem to agree that the Nicene Creed and Apostles Creed are "compendia’ of their beliefs. Reason seems to agree.
