Protestants: What is the oddest thing about Catholicism?

I find what you just said very odd. Reminds me of what Arch-Bishop Sheen said about the many who hate what they think the Catholic Church teaches.

Do some of you teach these false beliefs to one another? Do you read them in a book, at a particular site, does someone teach you these “beliefs” from a certain denomination, where do you get these ideas you think the Church teaches?🤷

Lets try to clear something up for you on contraception, most do contain things that abort the child somewhere along from the time of conception (which is the sperm and egg meeting, which is LIFE), and to the time the child reaches the womb, some contraception makes the womb like a poison to the **child **and kills it (which is abortion), even if you don’t like the way its worded it still does that. The Catholic Church doesn’t teach that the martial act is for procreation only.

What about a person who needs assistance to breath air? Are they any less of a person?
 
I know I know how about Catholicism being 2000+ years can you believe that…wow that’s cray huh!

Ok and what about the whole issue on life…
Well I am a mother and believe that life begins at conception. This “embryo” has a heart and a brain and limbs can you believe it…thats seems pretty human, live-like to me…every appointment you get to hear the heart beating, what requires a heart to beat oxygen…so to say that an “embryo” is not living until it is born because it has to “breath air” is false. When I went into labor the nurses told me if I don’t breath the baby doesn’t breath because that is a lack of oxygen…hmm…so it is living, it is human, it is a life…You know what else is crazy, when a baby is born and the mother or father talk to the baby the baby knows who they are because for nine months the baby could hear the tone of the father and the mother. It’s pretty crazy when something that isn’t alive in the womb can know the tones of the father’s or mother’s voice when it “becomes alive” after it is born…

agree that He is everything and without Him we are nothing, but how do you reconcile this with the fact that not two humans will agree on everything? do you think that Jesus came so that everyone believes whatever he wants? do you believe that Jesus came to teach things that differ from culture to culture and age to age? when the apostles were attacked by those who were teaching heresies, did they say " ok no problem as long as you believe in Jesus"? or did they travel from church to church and sent letters from church to church to teach what exactly Jesus wants?

Regarding abortion, if it is ok and normal, why do women suffer emotionally after abortion and until they die?

Your are right and once we right the age 1 we are no longer infants and once we reach the age of 20 we are no longer teenagers and once we reach the age of 50 we are no longer middle age. SO what is your point!🤷

I can believe the Catholics being around for 2000 years because I was baptized as one. So WOW, the subject had nothing to do with your post. I never said life didn’t start at conception. Wow, I love how people are trying to misquote me.

So please tell what is the human embryo it is not human since you are stating here that you acknowledge it is alive.
