Proving Christ's Divinity

Is there really any way to prove Christ’s divinity? How do we know he was really the Son of God? Having some doubts here.
 
The first part of the Catholic Encyclopedia article on “The Incarnation” might be helpful. It provides some “proofs” from the Old Testament, the New Testament, and Tradition.

What would proof look like to you? What kind of proof are you expecting 2000 years after the event?

Well, I think you can look at the historical evidence for the Resurrection of Christ first. Read John 1, and then through that lens read the rest of the 4 gospels. Also read early Church Fathers on Christ, remember they were the disciples of the apostles. Not all truth comes directly from the Bible.

I am also puzzled by this and what I read in the Bible.
For example, one question I would have is why only the Father knows the day or the hour. If Jesus is God would He not also know the day or the hour?

Further Jesus is the Son of Man and the Bible says not to trust the Son of Man. At least in some versions:
Psalm 146: Put not your trust in princes, nor in the Son of Man, in whom there is no help.
Then
John 7:16 My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. Why is His doctrine not His?
Matt 15:24 “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”
Jesus was not sent for the whole world but only for the lost sheep of Israel. Wouldn’t God send His Son for the whole world?
Matt 26:39 Do Jesus and God have the same will? “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
 
After His glorious Resurrection, Jesus went “Global”

Isaiah 49:6
He says, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light to the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”
 
If Jesus spoke precisely of the “Day & Hour” you can see that would
change human history ! So He wisely deflected.
JW’s have these & more verses to use against Christs divinity
asserting He was the Archangel Michael operating a human body. [WOW ]

Is there then a contradiction:

Matt 15:24 “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” Sent only to the lost tribes of Israel.

Jesus’ 3yrs of ministry were devoted to the sheep of Israel.
The Apostles were commissioned to preach His saving Gospel
“to the ends of the Earth”

What impresses me is Jesus’ resurrection is the most well documented event in ancient history. For example, there are more extant ancient manuscripts of the New Testament than any other type of ancient historical works.
 
And the witness of the earliest Church Fathers was too soon after the original event for a legend to have proigated.
 
The three persons of the triune God are distinct, but not separate. Jesus address himself as God sometimes or refers to God the father sometimes because the distinctions within have relational value. In other words, it helps his audience understand what he is talking about. Context is key.

The Early Church Fathers knew the apostles personally. Read their writings of what they stated, the apostles and Early Church knew.
Many good catholic books exist on the Early Church fathers.

Reading the lives of the saints strengthen our faith also, because hundreds of the saints/ mystics/ Doctors of the Church, personally saw and spoke to Jesus or Our Lady in apparitions, and received confirmation that Jesus is the Second Person of the Trinity.

I would suggest reading Sr Lucia of Fatima’s diary (book on the Fatima apparitions), St Faustina’s Diary, or a book on Saint Padre Pio, Saint John Vianney, Saint John Bosco’s Forty Dreams (book),
Or even the book: ‘Struck by Lightning’ by Gloria Polo (a book that is free to read online) (about a catholic who became an aetheist and was clinically dead for a number of minutes and saw heaven, Hell, and purgatory),

The evidence IS there!!!
