Can anyone tell me if Psalm 52:1 (“The fool said in his heart: There is no God”) appears anywhere among the Sunday propers in the 1962 Roman Missal? As a relative newcomer (this past Advent makes one year) to the Tridentine Mass, I am not familiar enough with the older cycle of readings to know from the top of my head. My St. Joseph’s Daily Missal unfortunately lacks an index, and I was hoping to find the answer to my question relatively quickly – viz., without having to read the entire Missal in one sitting.

No, I don’t think so. At least, “Dixit insipiens” does not begin any introit, gradual, tract, alleluia verse, offertory, communio, or other antiphon or responsory listed in the Liber Usualis. Theoretically it might be buried in there somewhere like as a psalm verse to an introit, but not that I’ve ever seen.
