I’ve been fortunate to go to this twice. Not necessary to be a choir member to participate and benefit.

February 8 - 9, St. Seraphim Orthodox Church, Santa Rosa, CA

Topics Include:
Choral Leadership and Vocal Development
Voicing Music for Small Choirs
Music of Maia Aprahamian

Speakers include:
Mark Bailey
Alice Hughes
Anne Schoepp
Fr. Lawrence Margitich

We will sing Vespers both Friday and Saturday and Divine Liturgy on Saturday morning.

PSALM’s Liturgical Singing Seminar provides participants from all
Orthodox traditions to come together to grow musically, liturgically,
and spiritually in our common ministry of liturgical singing.
Subject matter and practica will be pertinent to choir directors,
singers, chanters, and clergy.

The registration is up and hotel rooms at special rate should be reserved by Feb 1st.

One need not be a choir member to benefit from this seminar. And the services are open to anyone, not only Seminar participants. St. Seraphim’s is a beautiful church.

Fly into San Francisco or Oakland Airport and use Airport Express transportation to the drop-off point at the DoubleTree Inn in Rohnert Park, CA.
E-mail Fr. Lawrence Margitich with your travel drop-off day and time, and the day and time you need to be back at the DoubleTree Inn for your Airport Express pick-up.
If you have travel arrangements made before you fill out the registration form, you can include your pick-up times in the registration process.
You may also fly into the Sonoma County Airport and arrange your own transportation to the Best Western in Rohnert Park, CA.
