Which is a more powerful prayer the psalms or the rosary. I realize the rosary stemmed from the psalms . But which is more powerful against evil in your opinion? God bless.

They’re different prayers for different things. I don’t think that there is a correct answer. What may be more “powerful” or even fruitful for you today, may not be the same tomorrow. Rosary today, Psalms tomorrow, Lectio Divina the day after. With the Rosary you are meditating the life of Christ and the Gospels with the Blessed Mother. Several Saints and Pope’s advocated the Rosary to fight evil. With the Psalms you are literally saying/praying the inspired words of God, but each Psalm is a different prayer, for a different purpose, such as praise, laments, etc. The devil himself tempted Jesus in the desert by twisting the Psalms to try and trick him. I’m interested to hear what others say, but I’d imagine you likely won’t find a definitive answer. Different prayers, for different purposes. Different prayers for different people.

I do not understand, how could one prayer be more powerful than another?Which is a more powerful prayer the psalms or the rosary. I realize the rosary stemmed from the psalms . But which is more powerful against evil in your opinion? God bless.

Prayer from the heart, prayer emanating from true belief, these are the most powerful prayers. James 5:16 says the prayers of righteous people are automatically powerful and effective,
One can pray the Rosary or the Psalms by rote, without taking them into the heart and thus not allowing them to emanate from true belief. Either one is less powerful than any other more devout prayer when done this way.
The saints have expressed many differing opinions about what is the most powerful prayer.
A sincere and devout Sign of the Cross can be a very effective prayer against evil.
