Well I’m actually glad he was removed; I personally dont think thos epeople can be saved. Sure sometimes it happens, but to be honest I think those people were never really gay in th first place, they were just tempted by a growing fad.

This sort of story kinda alarms me. My kid is currently studying to be a clinical psychologist. I am wondering what she will be asked to denounce for the sake of keeping a job.

It’s always *possible *but I just think the chances are slim to none. When I was younger I had a lot of gay friends and I just know the way those people are. Of course I would fully support anyone who would accept Christ.

Actually there have been many successful gay people who’ve been cured, if you like to use that word. Look up organizations like PFOX and NARTH. The reason you don’t hear much about them is that like what started this thread, they’re always forced and kicked out and the people who are actively promoting homosexuality throughly hate and discriminate against these organizations.

While I applaud the efforts of these organizations, I can’t help but think that maybe the “gay” people who were cured were actually not gay to begin with. One of my former friends was like this. He loved the carefree lifestyle and he was just really into the “fashion” aspect of the whole culture. But some us found straight porn on his computer and we think he was sneaking out to see a girlfriend but we could never confirm it. I parted ways with him a long time ago but I heard from a mutual friend he’s married with children now.

Without disclosing with exactness my own abomination although sexual in nature, I am testifying that once I recognized the evil, I desired to change and I am sure this happened with the Grace of God. Simply - people can and do change. This can happen anytime between birth and death bed. What matters is that we don’t give up and give in to secular world views. This is not going to happen today on this forum.

What an interesting response, most of the time I’m being told how we must point out to gays/homosexuals the error of their ways and why they must reform, I am told that we must all be evangelists against the abominations of homosexuality.Ah the irony!

But then if I gently chide someone on a lack of Christian behaviour I,m pilloried! Does this mean that all correction is aimed exclusively in one direction? That christians may critisize others but not be critisized themselves? Surely not.

This news story requires greater attention than it is getting. My kid is well into her study of psychology and through her I am beginning to understand the far reaching power psycholgists have in society.
